The high-quality Priolite softboxes are the ideal aid for non-directional but very uniform illumination with very soft light-shadow transitions. Whether people, group photographs or product photography - whenever soft reflex-free, soft illumination is important, the softbox is the right tool. The enclosed inter-diffuser provides an even softer light. The  Grid (textile honeycomb grid) is available as an  accessory and ensures directed light guidance and special reflective effects. Softboxes are used to soften the light and are therefore particularly suitable for shaping the skin in the portrait area.

Priolite softboxes consist of solid black fabric, black outside and silver inside. In this way one can direct the light very well. Nevertheless, no light penetrates the outside, except through the front diffuser. When working with high-power flash units, please pay attention to the heat generation: the inside of the softboxes can be warmed by the modeling light. To prevent this, Priolite Softboxes have special flaps to remove the heat.

A disadvantage with conventional softboxes is that they are usually difficult to mount and dismantle: one has to insert elastic rods into so-called speed rings and then plug them into the provided eyelets. Many photographers leave the softboxes easy to set up and stow them well packed in the car or on shelves in the studio. As a solution, Priolite has equipped the premium softboxes with a  special plastic inner coating, which makes them much easier and faster to build up. Due to the design, they are also more resistant, more robust and also much faster to build up.
